How we use your details
Applies to the free webinars on duadesk.com and the emails, WhatsApp messages and recordings that go with them.
Who we are
The webinars are run by CA Ashish Dua for DuaDesk. For any question about your details, write to ashish@ashishduacorporation.com or call +91 98995 73717.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, mobile (optional), role and company, your questions, topic ideas and feedback.
- What happens around a session: which webinars you registered for, whether you attended and for how long (from Microsoft Teams), whether you watched a recording, and whether you opened links in our emails to take an action.
- The session itself: sessions are recorded and transcribed in Microsoft Teams. We keep the transcript to improve future sessions. Questions asked in a session may be kept and answered on our website or in emails, always without the name or details of the person who asked.
- Professional contact details from business sources: if we invite you before you have registered with us, we found your work contact details in business directories, association member lists or professional data services such as RocketReach.
Why we use them
- To register you, send your confirmation, calendar invitation, joining link and reminders, and afterwards the recording, your attendance certificate and a short feedback form.
- To invite you to future webinars on topics that fit your work, only if you asked for this or we have been in touch before, and always with a one-click way to stop.
- To contact you about DuaDesk products only when you ask us to (“Talk to us”, “Yes, call me” or a demo request).
- To improve our sessions, using attendance numbers and feedback.
We do not sell your details. We do not share them with co-hosts or partners unless you tell us to.
Who helps us
Your details are kept in our own database (Supabase) and used by these services only to do the work described above: Vercel (our website), Resend and our email providers (sending emails), Microsoft Teams (the sessions and attendance), YouTube (recordings, unlisted), and Anthropic (AI help in drafting summaries and some emails). If you choose WhatsApp, messages go through WhatsApp.
Your choices
- Stop emails: every email has an “Unsubscribe” link and a “Choose which invitations you get” link. Unsubscribing is permanent: we will not add you back from any list unless you ask us to.
- Stop WhatsApp: reply STOP.
- See, correct or delete your details: write to ashish@ashishduacorporation.com. When we delete you, we keep only a scrambled fingerprint of your email or mobile so that we never contact you again.
- Notifications and calendar: the “Notify me” and calendar options store no personal details; you can turn them off in your browser or calendar at any time.
How long we keep them
We keep your details while you are interested in our webinars, and delete them when you ask us to.
